1. What the Thraa app is
Your financial data is stored on your phone by default, and no data is sent to any external service unless you choose a feature that requires it.
2. Your account and responsibilities
Free features can be used without an account. When you create an account with email or Google, you agree to provide accurate information and protect your credentials. The account manages your identity and will link paid features when they become available; signing in alone does not upload financial data. You are also responsible for entered amounts, your device, PIN, and backups.
3. Money and currencies
Whole amounts
Money amounts are whole numbers with no fractions, except gold and silver weights, which support fractions.
No automatic conversion
The app does not convert currencies automatically; changing the currency in settings is a nominal 1:1 correction, not a currency exchange.
4. Assets, forecasts, and zakat
Asset and investment wallets show the value of your holdings and are not spendable money. Forecasts, indicators, and tips are guidance estimates based on your data, not financial or investment advice, and the zakat calculation is an estimate, not a religious ruling.
5. Optional external services
Thraa account
Accounts use a cloud authentication service to store your name, email, account ID, email-verification status, and sign-in provider.
Voice recognition
Sends a short clip (up to 3 seconds) to a recognition service and it is then deleted; no transaction is saved before your review.
Google Drive
Backup goes to your personal account after separate Drive permission; its financial contents are not added to your Thraa account.
Bank transaction detection
Processes new notifications on your phone only; no transaction is recorded before your review and confirmation.
Using any external service is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy.
6. Acceptable use
Abusing the app, attempting unauthorized access to its data, or using it for any illegal activity is prohibited. The app is intended for personal use in managing your money.
7. Intellectual property
The Thraa name, logo, app design, and content belong to the app developers and may not be copied or republished without written permission.
8. Deleting your data and ending use
- You can delete your Thraa account from the account screen and delete local data or receipt images from settings.
- Account deletion does not automatically remove phone data or Google Drive backups or cancel a Google Play subscription; each is managed separately. Uninstalling without a backup means losing your local data.
9. Changes to the terms and contact
We may update these terms when new features are added, and the effective date will be shown at the top of the page.
